Ashland
Farm has been in the Clay/Calhoun family for five generations. It
has 430 acres of mixed woodlands and pastures, with wetlands, rock
outcroppings, creeks, lakes, and miles of trails throughout. A
natural wildlife sanctuary, over the years it has become a refuge
for friends and family as well. Our dream and our work are to make
this beautiful land sustainable and to protect it for the future.
Our
Event Facility was
designed by Roger Haller who designed the 1996 Olympic X-C Course at
the GA International Horse Park. Created with schooling and
fun in mind, we have two full sized, lighted, sand, dressage arenas,
a large, lighted, sand, show jumping arena, and a X-C course
with ditches, banks, and a water jump.

next show is the Mid-Summer Combined Test and Dressage Show. .
The Grey Barn opened in January of 2002 as a boarding facility specializing in
the sport of "Eventing", for
which the size and varied terrain of the farm are well suited.
In 2003 we began hosting small schooling shows and Pony Club activities. These were fun and well received. In 2005 we decided to expand our ability to host these types of
events, and in 2006 we were proud and pleased to open
our new Event Facility..
The Green Barn serves as headquarters for the specialty
produce which we have been growing and delivering to Atlanta
restaurants since 1984. Since 2004 we have focused
increasingly
on herbs and "Micro Greens" in all their incredibly rich variety.
Ashland Farm is located in Walnut Grove, Georgia, seven miles from The GA
International Horse Park, and forty minutes from downtown Atlanta.
